Expanding collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation through a national network of healthcare organizations
The Southern Atlantic Healthcare Alliance (SAHA) is pleased to announce its membership in the National Cooperative of Health Networks Association (NCHN), a national organization dedicated to supporting health networks and the leaders who guide them.
NCHN brings health networks together to share knowledge, resources, and innovative approaches to common healthcare challenges. Its national membership creates opportunities for network leaders to learn from one another, collaborate on shared priorities, and strengthen their membership provider organizations.
For SAHA, joining NCHN represents an important opportunity to expand our collaborative reach beyond our region and connect with organizations across the country that share a similar commitment to improving healthcare through membership provider partnerships.
Founded in 2004 by independent health systems in North Carolina, SAHA is a collaborative of hospitals and health systems committed to improving healthcare quality, reducing costs, and sharing knowledge across the continuum of care.
SAHA has evolved significantly since its founding. In 2024, the organization began a strategic shift from primarily serving as a convener to becoming a catalyst for business ventures, innovation, and meaningful collaboration that drive collective value.
Membership in NCHN supports that evolution.
A Stronger Network Through Shared Knowledge
Healthcare organizations across the country are navigating many of the same challenges—from financial pressures and workforce constraints to quality improvement, operational efficiency, and the need to continuously innovate.
Connecting with other health networks gives SAHA an opportunity to exchange ideas, identify successful approaches, and bring new perspectives and opportunities to its members.
