Course Description

In today’s volatile healthcare environment, a revenue integrity program is vital to a provider’s success. Adherence to policies and procedures, specifically in the middle of a hospital’s revenue cycle, can make the difference in preventing gross revenue leakage and ensuring accurate reimbursement. In this presentation, we discuss the challenges facing healthcare providers and the revenue integrity process that can reduce the risk of revenue loss and payment denials.

Learning Objectives:

  1. Discuss the key components of a revenue integrity department, including gross revenue capture and net improvement focus areas.
  2. Review important success factors including organizational commitment and how to best coordinate with operations, finance, and other key areas.
  3. Evaluate appropriate implementation approach, timeline, reporting and key performance indicators.
  4. Examine relevant implementation case studies.
