His previous work experience includes internships at the Durham VA Medical Center and PDA Consultants in Raleigh, NC. He has worked as a Health Unit Coordinator and in Medical Information Management at UNC Hospitals, and has experience in insurance sales.

Chris Applewhite joined SAHA as a Project Manager in August 2011. He graduated in May 2011 with a Master of Healthcare Administration from the Gillings School of Global Public Health at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Chris has a bachelor's in Psychology from Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA.
